Humanize Claude output
Claude's writing is smoother than most AI, so people assume it passes. Detectors still pick up its habits. Check your Claude text below and fix what's left.

Independent heuristic estimate of the signals detectors use (predictability, burstiness, stock AI phrasing, repetitive structure). It is not GPTZero, ZeroGPT or Turnitin, and real scores can differ.
Tell-tale signs
These are the patterns readers and detectors notice first. The checker above flags most of them automatically.
Claude tends to write thoughtfully and with nuance, which reads well but has its own fingerprint: lots of careful qualification, balanced structures and neatly organised lists. Detectors such as GPTZero, Originality.ai and Pangram are trained on output from Claude as well as ChatGPT.
The main fix is commitment. Human writers take positions, drop qualifiers and skip steps a careful AI would explain. Add a clear opinion, cut the hedges and replace one list with a short story or example.
One useful trick is to ask several models to rewrite the same paragraph and pick the most natural one. MultipleChat runs Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and others side by side, so you can see which version sounds most like you.
Prompt that works
Specific constraints beat vague instructions. Fill in the brackets with your own details:
Rewrite this so it sounds like me talking to a colleague. Cut hedging (it's worth noting, that said, nuanced). Take a clear position. Mix very short and long sentences. Replace bullet points with prose where possible. Keep all facts. Add [specific example].
Or compare rewrites from ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini side by side in MultipleChat (free up to 10,000 words a day) and keep the version that sounds most like you.
Step by step
Paste the text into the checker and note the red sentences and stock phrases.
Delete or replace every phrase in the list above. Shorter is almost always better.
Names, numbers, dates, examples and opinions. This is the part AI can't fake.
Run it again. When it's mostly green and sounds like you out loud, you're done.

FAQ
Paste it into the free BypassZero checker, rewrite the red sentences, remove the stock phrases it lists, and add specific details only you know. Then check again.
Often, yes. Tools like GPTZero, ZeroGPT, Turnitin and Originality.ai look for predictable wording and even rhythm, which unedited AI text almost always has.
Yes. The BypassZero checker is free and shows what to fix. For rewriting, MultipleChat's humanizer is free up to 10,000 words a day and lets you compare several models' rewrites.
Editing AI drafts so they're accurate and sound like you is fine in most work settings. In schools and some jobs, AI use has rules; follow them and disclose when required.
Use it the right way
AI detectors are probabilistic and get things wrong, which is why it makes sense to check your text first. But the goal is clear, specific writing that is genuinely yours, not hiding AI use where it's banned.
